Snowflake Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass containing the mineral Cristobalite (Quartz) in the form of white “snowflakes” crystal patterns. Snowflake obsidian can form underground, in cracks that the magma seeps into, or above ground in slow-moving, silica-rich lava flows. It carries the vibrations of Black Obsidian and Cristobalite Quartz. It is found in many countries with historic volcanic eruptions, including USA, Italy, Scotland, Chili, Ecuador, and Canada.  

Snowflake Obsidian provides balance for body, mind and spirit. Assists in releasing belief systems that do not serve you any longer, and stressful mental patterns. Beneficial for those who feel isolated and lonely, and in meditation, as it provides a sense of calm and inner centering. It is a calming and soothing gemstone that is excellent for children.
