Stibnite, also known as Antimonite, is a toxic antimony sulphate mineral with an orthorhombic crystal lattice and a source of metalloid antimony. Mined in open pits in China, Japan, Germany, Brazil, Peru and South Africa. In spite of its toxicity, Stibnite paste has been used for thousands of years for cosmetics to darken eyebrows and lashes. Stibnites’ appearance is a metallic steel grey with light blue iridescent streaks, it forms in striations (sticks), the slender curved metallic blades of Stibnite can resemble Arabian swords. It is found in hydrothermal veins. Iridescent specimens are highly prized and collectable. 

In the metaphysical stage, Stibnite is believed to be a crystal of change, attraction and transformation. Stibnite can effect profound change on all levels and always for ones personal growth. When using Stibnite in meditation, be sure to keep your thoughts positive and precise as it is a strong crystal for manifesting.
